Before joining Uttarakhand Samanata Party he was the President of Uttarakhand Raksha Morcha, a regional party of Uttarakhand. The party is progressing fast under the able leadership and guidance of Dr Bahuguna. Presently the party is having a large number of activists, supporters and well wishers who are always ready to work for the party.

If corrective steps are not taken by all the political and socio-cultural organizations together, we as hill people will cease to exist in future. We are giving this statement not just for politics but to save our heritage and lifestyle. That’s why we call upon all right thinking people and mothers and sisters of Uttarakhand to preserve our heritage. We will work like an NGO and give a new direction to the politics of the state. Our aim is not to contest elections for power, but to start a mass movement for change.

So for a few years. It has been decided to work on the following points:

  • Hills The outsiders are settling on a large scale in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand in a systematic manner with a big plan to change the demographic pattern in the districts. Without any reason, religious structures are being built in the hills and gradually efforts are being made to create communal tension. Many cases of love jihad have come to notice and it is feared that this is being done deliberately by making people settle in small markets. Along with this, religious conversion is also taking place in the mountains by persuading the poor. It is absolutely necessary to stop this trend to maintain the cultural integrity of Uttarakhand.
  • A peaceful movement will be launched with the active participation of mothers and sisters and youth of Uttarakhand and all people and organizations will be invited. Origin of all religions and plains and hilly regions Citizens would be requested to maintain the cultural identity of Uttarakhand by maintaining unity and social harmony and balance of environment. We must first ensure allegiance to the nation and the state. Our political leaders have forgotten the heritage of Uttarakhand and are stuck in the politics of power and money and because of which our young women and the vast majority of the population are being neglected.
  • Today there is a need to promote a powerful regional party as the voice of the people and which will develop the trend of honest politics with cultural dominance, which will focus purely on the problems of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Samanata Party will fulfill this need and we invite our youth and mother power to join us and create new political force in Uttarakhand. Call to lay the foundation. Whenever the party gets mass support of our people, we promise to give 50% tickets to women and youth. All our women and youth who participated in the Uttarakhand movement should be honored because without their deep commitment, Uttarakhand would not have come into existence.
  • One of the most important issue is to bring enactment of transfer of property and transfer of land on the lines of Himachal Pradesh, so as to ensure the cultural identity of Uttarakhand by preventing the purchase of land and property by outsiders. For this, only in 1950 persons with domicile of hills should be allowed to buy land and private property in hills. In other fields the cut off date should be the year 2001.
  • The delimitation of assembly seats should have additional criteria of geographical area apart from population so that the number of seats in hilly districts is not reduced. For this Uttarakhand Samanata Party will demand amendment in the related act. This should have been done at the time of reorganization of UP State Bill and creation of Uttarakhand. We demand that the delimitation process should be put on hold till the Act is amended.
  • One of the objectives of the party shall be to promote the emergence of new young leaders of character and high moral values who can serve the people with integrity and dedication. Large scale corruption is due to poor moral values among the political class which focuses more on capturing power for selfish gains and not to serve the people. The party’s focus shifted from state politics to capturing power Will lead to social and cultural strengthening of heritage and political activities will be the product of our movement.
  • We need to focus on efficient resource management to generate employment, provide best job oriented education and excellent medical facilities in the hills and for each district and for each The sections of the society will have a perspective plan of 5 to 10 years.
  • The issue of reservation in promotion has been the biggest cause of discontent among the state government employees. The Constitution makers never had any intention to give reservation in promotion. This is a regressive step just to promote vote bank politics and a serious blow to the meritocracy which is reflected in the performance of the government. The party strongly opposes any kind of reservation in promotion for government employees.
  • If we look at the constitutional criteria for declaring an area backward, we find that the hilly areas of Uttarakhand qualify to be declared socially and economically backward. Uttarakhand Samanata Party demands that all hilly areas of our state be declared backward. And 75 percent of jobs in the state should be reserved for the people of the state.
  • There is a tendency to deprive the unemployed youth of the state and fool them by not making recruitments in various government departments and engaging contractors to provide manpower in various departments. Most of the contractors are from outside the state and as a result a large number of people employed by them are outsiders. Moreover, the whole system of manpower is not only bad because many of the people engaged in it are not qualified, but the system favors middlemen. There are also promotions which take a major part of the salary from the employees. Due to this one-sided policy, youth are migrating to other states and this is the reason for creating resentment among the unemployed youth. Corruption is also flourishing due to this. Uttarakhand Samanata Party will end this highly unjust policy and go for full recruitment of manpower.
  • The basic objective of Uttarakhand Samanata Party is to focus on solving our problems with concrete policy. At the national level we will support all good pro-people and nationalist policies of the present central government and support action against those elements who are in league with foreign powers destabilizing the progress and defense of the nation.
  • There is a need for a complete overhaul of rural development, mining policy, large and small scale industries, road communication, migration and hydropower to create a resource and environment based development plan. Uttarakhand Samanata Party will give top priority to it.
  • To involve the entire civil society (social workers, artists, doctors, technocrats and intellectuals who have excelled in various walks of life) in governance and nation building, for this purpose a 30-member Legislative Council is constituted in the party state proposes to do . Out of 30 seats, elections will be held on 20 seats and nominations will be held on 10 seats. A member shall not be nominated for more than two terms.
  • Uttarakhand is a Himalayan state with a delicate ecology. The party will continuously work for the protection of the environment which is closely linked to the culture of the hill people. Development is necessary for the progress of Uttarakhand, but it is absolutely necessary to balance it with the environment security of its geography and people.
  • One of the most important issues today is the need to ban certain narcotics as it is felt that our youth are victims of the drug mafia. Drugs are becoming easily available all over Uttarakhand. The government or political leaders are not doing anything on this and this has put a question mark on the future of our youth.
  • Politics all over the country has become a profession to earn money and power by any means. Uttarakhand Samanata Party will start a movement among the youth to develop a new leadership for the future whose motto will be to serve the people and work tirelessly for a corruption free political environment. We call upon the mothers and sisters of Uttarakhand to help us lay the foundation of New Uttarakhand.
