Uttarakhand Samanta Party was founded on 30 July 2021. The party participated for the first time in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and fielded its two candidates from Garhwal Parliamentary seat and Haridwar Parliamentary seat and will continue to field its candidates in future elections on the issues of public welfare and protection of the heritage of the state. The party will continue to raise issues related to the welfare of the people and the protection of our heritage before the central and state governments.

Our value

Qualified and ready for leadership

 Uttarakhand Samata Party was founded on 30 July 2021 and the party was registered as a political party by the Election Commission of India on 3 February 2022 with registration number 56/217/2021-22/PPS/-1. The party participated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections for the first time and fielded its two candidates Shri Vinod Kumar Sharma from Garhwal Parliamentary seat and Shri Balbir Singh Bhandari from Haridwar Parliamentary seat and will continue to field its candidates in future elections on the issues of public welfare and saving the heritage of the state. Currently, the party is run by the National President, bureaucrat-turned-politician and renowned writer Dr. VK Bahuguna, a former IFS. Dr. Bahuguna has been the Principal Secretary of Tripura, Director General of Indian Council of Forestry in the Ministry of Environment and Forests and Chancellor of FIR University. He has been the President of Uttarakhand Raksha Morcha before joining Uttarakhand Samata Party. Under the able leadership and guidance of Dr. Bahuguna, the party is progressing at a rapid pace. At present, the party has many workers, supporters and well-wishers who are always ready to work for the party.

Indian politics needs to be redefined for the progress of our country. Uttarakhand Samanata Party want to be strong regional force of people’s voice for honest and purposeful governance and prepared to collaborate with government of any nationalist party who support our charter. We are strongly opposed to unnecessary and politically motivated criticism of elected governments but stoutly opposed any anti people policy which damages the heritage and environment of our state and country. Uttarakhand Samanata Party was established on 30th July 2021 and was accorded registration as a political party by the Election Commission of India w.ef 3rd February 2022 vide registration number 56/217/2021-22/PPS/-1.The party participated in Election Process for the first time during Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 by putting up its two candidates one Sh Vinod Kumar Sharma from Garhwal Parliamentary Constituency and the other Sh Balbir Singh Bhandari from Haridwar Parliamentary constituency and will continue to put up its candidates regularly in the ensuring elections by raising issues concerning welfare of the people of Uttarakhand and the issues concerning protection of our heritage. Presently the party is being run by its National President Dr V. K Bahuguna Ex- IFS, a bureaucrat turned politician and a writer of repute. Dr Bahuguna has been the Principal Secretary of Government of Tripura, Director General of Indian council of forestry research in Environment and forest ministry and Vice chancellor of FRI University. Before joining Uttarakhand Samanata Party he was the President of Uttarakhand Raksha Morcha a regional party of Uttarakhand.The party is progressing fast under the able leadership and guidance of Dr Bahuguna. Presently the party is having a large number of activists , supporters and well wishers who are always ready to work for the party.

Our Concern Issues

“Uttarakhand Samanata Party”  is committed to bringing equality in every section of the society with true respect for the principles of Constitution, socialism, secularism and democracy. Adopting the principle of “Atmavat Sarvabhuteshu”, we want Uttarakhand to rise above the politics of caste and religion and establish a society based on merit and equality. The party will work on the following objectives to build a prosperous and secure state. 

1.  In accordance with public sentiments, the permanent capital of the state should be made in Gairsain.
2.  Like Himachal Pradesh, implementation of strong land law.
3.  To give the benefit of restoration of old pension to the employees.
4.  To restore the system of domicile of origin (as per 1950) which existed before the formation of the state, 8 November 2000.
5.  Determination of policy for migration prevention. 

(1) Determining the right strategy for reverse migration and implementing a mandatory employment guarantee scheme to stop migration from hilly areas         

(2)  Formation of hill sub-division for government services.  

(3)   get the works of milk production, biogas plant, fishery, sheep rearing, sheep rearing, poultry farming, flower, fruit and vegetable production etc.         done on a large and commercial scale and to provide resources for self-employment.  

(4)  Protection of water, forest and land and linking them with employment oriented schemes.  

(5)  To promote tourism activities and to link it with permanent employment by making a detailed action plan. 
   
( 6)  Immediate recruitment campaign on all vacant posts and thereafter filling the vacancies in a phased manner in every selection year and making promotions. 

6.  Sensitive administration for social justice and fixing accountability of government and administration in all works. 

7.  Formation of an empowered upper caste commission. 

8.  To give reservation to socially and economically backward classes on economic basis without any discrimination. 

9.  Implementation of the law of compulsory consolidation. 

10.  Along with radical change and development in the agricultural sector, agriculture based on organic farming should be encouraged further and the entire agricultural sector      should be linked with employment. 

11.  Natural resources should be conserved. 

12.  Keeping in view the adverse geographical conditions and environmental needs of the state, to establish Uttarakhand as an energy state by promoting small hydro power projects and alternative energy projects. 

13.  To prepare an effective strategy to eradicate unemployment and to develop Uttarakhand as an IT hub like the states of Karnataka, Hyderabad, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu etc.

14.  To provide excellent education to all the students and to strengthen the education sector and to give national and international recognition to Uttarakhand in the field of education.

15.  To provide excellent medical care to all citizens.
16.  Work of women empowerment to be done.
17.  Realizing the vision of a corruption-free state and constituting an effective and fully empowered Lokayukta.
18.  To maintain social harmony, the one-sided and flawed sections of the Atrocities on SC, ST Act should be amended and
        in case of conviction, appropriate compensation should be provided to the affected. 19. Delimitation of assembly constituencies to be done on the basis of area.
20.  To identify infiltrators and encroachers in the state and expel them from the state.
21.  Enacting anti-conversion and population control laws.
22.  Formation of village courts for the purpose of providing speedy justice and implementation of recommendations for police reforms.
23.  Removal of anomalies in Golden Card.
24.  To create a drug-free state.
25.  To give priority to natives in industries, employment and self-employment.
26.   Necessary reforms should be made in the Forest Acts in order to provide them the traditional rights of the residents of the hilly areas of the state who are facing extremely difficult conditions.
